Rally team ASRT started "Samsonas Rally Rokiskis" with four crews and want to say massive thanks to team's mechanics for the hard work done and to organizers for magnificant rally. 

Before rally, team's drivers were provided with test drives. Sergey Popov/ Andrey Gaklkevich crew had an especially valuable test programm, because of support and being advised by Ivars Vasaraudzis multiple champion of Latvia's Rally. 

Overall, team rated this race as very good. Proud of driver Ralfs Sirmacis with his co-driver Ralfs Igavens, for who this was just 3rd rally as co-driver. However, the crew demonstrated an excellent performance, which leaded to 4th place at 2WD class and 1st place at R2 class. All race was hard competition with Estonian driver Ken Torn, but unfortunately, K. Torn made a mistake and had an accident, he lost his leader position. The crew of R. Sirmais was awarded with new car Toyota Yaris for victory R2.

Hapinness for Sergej Popov/ Andrey Galkevich crew, who showed fast progression. After three stages Popov was stable 6th, but then followed city stage, he lost control because of wet track caused by weather, and made a mistake and coudn't finish the race. 

Dmitry Feofanov/ Normunds Kokins participated at Lithaunian rally Championship. Pilot started very good - 2nd in his Class, but on first stage at second day crew spinned into the ditch and lost a lot of time what costed him competition for leaderboard. 

At this rally Spanish Football Club 'Valencia' legendary ex-goalkeeper Jose Santiago Canizares Ruiz with his co-driver Andris Stoncus as ASRT team had a debut on grovel track. Till this race Canizares couple of years had experience just on Asphalt and this time he decided to prove his strenght on grovel. After rally ex-goalkeper was very happy about his performance and roads and organization at all. But sadly, for technical reasons he did not reached the Finish, but emotions and positivism what he experienced inspire him to return once again in rally.
