Last weekend, the ASRT rally team participated in the closing round of the Estonian Rally Championship, in the Saaremaa Rally on Saaremaa Island. There were Dmitry Feofanov and Latvian navigator Andris Mālnieks who started that round. The crew won the 32nd place in the final standing and the 10th in EMV2 class.
ASRT pilot Feofanov after the difficult Cyprus stage of the European Rally Championship closes his season on Saaremaa. At the European Rally Championship, ASRT team pilot Dmitry Feofanov made his debut with navigator Normunds Kokins. In eventful and heavy rally, the Russian racer managed to win third place in the ERC2 class.
The ASRT team has taken part in two great rallies. At the European Rally Championship event Rally Liepāja, Ralfs Sirmacis/Ralfs Igaveņš crew won the 13th place absolutely and the first in ERC2 class, while at Rally Estonia Sirmacis/Igaveņš were the fastest, immediately behind WRC and R5 cars.
ASRT driver Ralfs Sirmacis and his co-driver Ralfs Igaveņš won in class ERC2 at Rally Liepāja while Dmitrijs Feofanovs was forced to retire. This rally was hard not only for drivers, but also for mechanics and service staff.
Previous two weeks team ASRT had busy time in Russia, taking the test drive and participating in two rally races.
Dmitriy Feofanov and his co-driver Dmitriy Chumak (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) had started Russian Cup stage "Rally Golubie Ozera" , where driver reached 3rd place in the overall standing.
Team ASRT successfully started new season by rally Aluksne, team started rally with two crews – Sergey Popovs/Andrey Galkevics were driving new Skoda Fabia R5, and Dmitriy Feofanovs/Dmitriy Cumaks got start with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Remarking that Feofanovs will get new co-draiver who joined the test drives straight from the Dakar rally.

Last weekend, the "Lõuna-Eesti" rally, which was the fifth stage of the Estonian and Latvian rally championship, took place in Southern Estonia. 100 crews crossed the starting line, including two ASRT crews – Pjotrs Turkins/Vasīlijs Mirkotans and Dmitrijs Feofanovs/Andrejs Galkēvičs.
During the Latvian Rally Championship Season 2015 Emīls Blūms won third place in LRC3 class. After the season Emīls who’s been only rallying with Ford Fiesta R2 and Honda Civic so far, decided to try out his luck with another R2 class car. After a number of meetings, Blūms was able to reach an agreement with the ASRT rally team.
AThe final stage of the Latvian Rally Championship has passed. Rally Latvia, which this year took place in three cities - Riga, Jurmala and Tukums.
Absolute victory in the cup was won by Jānis Vorobjovs / Andris Mālnieks who won 12th place absolutely, fifth place in LRC3 class was won by ASRT teams crew Carl Martin Volver / Margus Joerands who had became Estonian champions in EMV4 2WD class before this stage. Although this time the talented Estonian rider failed to climb on the podium, the pilot was happy with this rally.
In previous holidays on island of Saaremaa ended the Estonian rally championship. In this beatfiul, but also difficult rally around 150 crews went to the start, among which were also four team ASRT crews.
At the first day after first three stages of the rally leader was Plangi, Egon Kaur who lost 11.1 seconds was second. Karl Martin Volver was at high 14th place absolutely.
Latvian and Estonian Rally Championship, which happened on last holidays, successfully took place in Estonia, Tartu city and its neighborhoods. In total, 85 crews went to the starting line, among which were two ASRT crews - Siim Plangi / Marek Sarapuu and Karl Martin Volver / Margus Joerand.
This stage Plangi’s crew was able to do with elated feelings, because this was Mareks Sarapuu 100th rally, so the crew at this stage started with the number 100.

Rally Tallin passed in Estonia, which was attended by two ASRT team crews - Siim Plangi / Marek Sarapuu and Karl Martin Volver / Margus Jorand. The rally began with the city's special stage, but the next day the drivers had to take the remaining nine special stages. A total of 72 crews went on start.
Unfortunately, at the very first special stage young and talented Volver commited mistake, who was forced to withdraw. As it later became clear, safety cage suffered from the accident, which did not allow Volvers crew to continue the race.
From 27th – 29th of august Kurzeme rally will take place in Liepāja and its surroundings, which this year will mark the 50th anniversary.
ASRT rally team has taken care of a pleasant surprise, this rally one of the team's crews will be Raimonds Kisiels / Arnis Ronis, who will debut in Kurzeme rally with a world-class Citroen DS3 R5.
"300 Lakes Rally" has passed in Lithuania, where sixth stage of the Latvian Rally Championship took place within it’s framework. In total 72 crews confirmed their participation in this rally, among which were four ASRT commands crew - Siim Plangi, Sergey Popov, Dmitry Feofanov and Toms Lielkājis, who started this stage with ASRT teams Peugeot 208 R2.
From 17 to 19 July rally auto24 took place in Estonia, where more than 60 crews went out on start, among which were two ASRT team crews - Siim Plangi / Marek Sarapuu and Karl Martin Volver / Margus Joerand.
In the ongoing Utena rally in Lithuania victory in the absolute cup was won by Alexey Lukyanuk but 1st in N4 class finished crew of Janis Vorobjovs. ASRT team pilot Dmitry Feofanov finished in high fourth place. Both the athlete and the team are satisfied with the Russian drivers indicated speed and progress.
Last holidays Harju rally took place in Estonia. ASRT team driver Siim Plangi became the winner, thus continuing to demonstrate his excellent performance. Over the last seven rallies he achieved seven victories in N4 class. Young and talented Carl Martin Volver won Seventh place absolutely and 1st place in EMV4 class, this was his first rally behind the steering wheel of Ford Fiesta R2. Meanwhile, Dmitry Feofanov finished fifth in EMV2 class.
Rally Talsi ended on Sunday with victory of ASRT teams pilot Siim Plangi. This was the fourth victory of Plangi in previous four Latvian Rally Championship stages.
Rally "Talsi" will take place on 16th and 17th of May, which will be the fourth stage of the Latvian Rally Championship. This year rally "Talsi" will be of international significance, because rally "Talsi" will host stages of the Lithuanian Rally Championship, the North European Zone (NEZ) Rally Championship and Junior Championship NEZ.
Last holidays started with the new summer season rally "Kalnamuiža 2015". Two ASRT crews were on the starting line - Dmitriy Feofanov/Normunds Kokins and Ainārs Igaveņš/Gatis Cimdiņš. Both crews to whom tasks in this rally were different, successfully reached the finish - Ainārs finished 15th, but Dmitriy was 25th.
